The Wayland Warriors softball team (Wayland, MA), was routed 13-1 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Newton South Lions (Newton, MA)
Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) in a Dual County Large test, on Friday, May 13. Newton South will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
The Warriors (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Westford Academy (Westford, MA). The Grey Ghosts come into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Westford Academy overcame Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA), 13-3, in a league test.
