Norton Lancers (Norton, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA), 14-6 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northbridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Norton will face a Rams squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Grafton (Grafton, MA). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Norwood falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Stoughton (Stoughton, MA) to face the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
