The New Albany Eagles baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Big Walnut Golden Eagles to 3 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Gahanna, OH). The Golden Lions go into the Ohio Capital - Ohio match with a 12-12 record. In their last match, Lincoln nudged Westland (Galloway, OH), 9-0, in a league bout.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 15. Big Walnut will attempt to move on its 8-17 season record. The Presidents enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH).
