Chillicothe Cavaliers (Chillicothe, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Chillicothe upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Cavaliers host Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, May 12. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 18-7. Wheelersburg won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Greenup County (Greenup, KY)
With the defeat, Vinton County falls to 7-15 on the season.
