Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Westminster upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Owls travel to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 14-5. Centennial won 9-3 in their recent league test against Reservoir (Fulton, MD)

With the defeat, Howard falls to 10-10 on the season.
