Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) and the visiting Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN), saw Mitchell's baseball squad edge Loogootee by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Bluejackets play the Clarksville Generals (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 13. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Generals enter the battle with a 1-18 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Eastern (Pekin, IN).
