In Thursday's non-league game, the host Meridian Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 14-8 victory over the Pinconning Spartans.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Harrison tipped Farwell (Farwell, MI), 13-10, in a league match.
