Indiana High School Baseball - Pike Central loses to Washington

May 11, 2023: Petersburg, IN 47567

The Washington Hatchets crushed the host Pike Central Chargers baseball team by a count of 15-4 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hatchets now possess a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host Gibson Southern for a Pocket bout on Tuesday, May 16. Washington will face a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Titans record now stands at 11-13.

Next, the Chargers face the Northeast Dubois Jeeps (Dubois, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 15. Pike Central will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Jeeps enter the bout with a 14-7 record after their 6-5 non-league win over South Spencer (Rockport, IN).
