New York High School Baseball - Vernon-Verona-Sherrill loses to Rome Free Academy

The Rome Free Academy Black Knights baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 3 in the Black Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Black Knights (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Red Raiders go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Fulton ran past Watertown (Watertown, NY), 9-2, in a non-league match.

The Red Devils (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY). The Golden Knights go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Holland Patent was overwhelmed by Camden (Camden, NY), 12-1, in a league match.
