In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the East Greenwich Avengers.

The Thunderbolts (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Barrington nudged Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Avengers encounter the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 15. East Greenwich will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Purples enter the test with a 6-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
