The Proviso East Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willowbrook for a West Suburban game on Tuesday, May 16. Proviso East will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-24.

The Chargers (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 10-15 record. In their last game, Ridgewood was nudged by St. Francis (Wheaton, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
