The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) and the visiting Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), saw Vianney's volleyball squad beat Notre Dame by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Vianney upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Metro-East Lutheran for a non-league bout on Friday, May 12. Notre Dame will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Knights record now stands at 6-14.
