In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO), by a count of 19-1.

Coming up next, the Mavericks confront the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 13. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 12-5 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Aspen (Aspen, CO).

With the defeat, Fruita Monument drops to 10-6 on the season.
