In Thursday's league battle, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the DeKalb Barbs.
The Warriors (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last match, West Chicago got by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a league match.
With the loss, DeKalb drops to 6-11 on the season. The Barbs travel to Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to encounter the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 16. The Indians come into the match with a record of 7-8. Hononegah lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Huntley (Huntley, IL)
