Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) and the visiting Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), witnessed Nipmuc Regional's softball squad prevail over Auburn by a count of 13-1.

The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Blackstone-Millville for a Dual Valley match on Saturday, May 13. Nipmuc Regional will face a Chargers squad coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Auburn moves to 5-10 on the season. The Rockets travel to Oxford (Oxford, MA) to face the Pirates in a South Worc Cty - East match on Monday, May 15.
