The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) and the visiting Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN), saw Brown County's softball squad nip Bloomington North by a count of 10-9.
The Eagles now sport a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Cloverdale for a Western Indiana match on Tuesday, May 16.
With the loss, Bloomington North falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 7-11. Bloomfield lost 4-3 in their recent league match against North Central (Farmersburg, IN)
