In Thursday's non-league contest, the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Carlsbad moves its record to 27-2 on the year. The Cavemen travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 11.
