In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils softball team scored a close 8-2 win over the Morgan Huskies.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 15. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 13-2 record after their 6-2 non-league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT).

The Huskies (3-14) will now prepare for their outing against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Bellringers enter the Shoreline - Large outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, East Hampton was routed by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 9-2, in a league outing.
