Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hancock County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. Heritage Hills will face a Hornets squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 15-10.

With the loss, South Spencer falls to 6-18 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Tell City (Tell City, IN) to face the Marksmen in a Pocket challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Marksmen enter the challenge with a record of 11-11. Tell City lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN)
