Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH) and the visiting Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH), witnessed Lakeview's softball squad tip Southeast by a count of 14-8.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hubbard for a Northeast Eight Athletic match on Monday, May 15. Lakeview will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Southeast moves to 7-7 on the season. The Pirates host Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH) to face the Tiger in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Tiger go into the match with a record of 11-10. Lake Center Christian won 21-2 in their recent non-league match against Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH)
