Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI), 1-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Whiteford moves its record to 16-1 on the year. The Bobcats host Summerfield (Petersburg, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Tri-County game on Wednesday, May 17. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Summerfield won 12-1 in their recent league contest against Erie-Mason (Erie, MI)

In their next game, the Big Reds play the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) in a Huron challenge, on Monday, May 15. Milan will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record.
