The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN), saw Penn's softball squad achieve victory over Mishawaka by a count of 9-0.

The Kingsmen now sport a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Prairie for a Northern Indiana match on Monday, May 15. Penn will face a Cougars squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 24-4.

With the loss, Mishawaka falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to NorthWood (Nappanee, IN) to face the Panthers in a Northern Lakes match on Friday, May 12. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-12. NorthWood won 7-4 in their recent league match against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
