The Rogue River Chieftains softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs to 9 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Rogue River improves its record to 5-3 on the year.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD6 Special District 5 game, on Monday, May 15. Sutherlin will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record.
