California High School Softball - Santa Paula bounces Silverado

May 11, 2023: Santa Paula, CA 93060

Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 24-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Irvine for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. Santa Paula will battle a Vaqueros squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 20-10.

With the loss, Silverado falls to 16-4 on the campaign.
