The Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL) softball routed the host Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL), 11-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tornadoes (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league bout with a 8-20 record. In their last bout, Clinton notched a victory over Eureka (Eureka, IL), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
