The Elk Mound Mounders crushed the host Ashland Oredockers baseball team by a tally of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mounders now hold a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they host La Crosse Logan for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 11. Elk Mound will face a Rangers team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Holmen (Holmen, WI). The Rangers record now stands at 8-6.
Next, the Oredockers face the Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 14. Ashland will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 12-5 record after their 4-0 league win over Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI).
