Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northeastern Clinton upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Moriah (Port Henry, NY) to battle the Vikings in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test on Tuesday, May 14. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 7-10. Moriah won 6-0 in their recent league test against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY)

With the defeat, Chazy falls to 6-9 on the season.
