The Old Lyme Wildcats crushed the host Granby Memorial Bears baseball team by a score of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Wildcats (8-8) will now prepare for their match against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers go into the non-league match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, New London was overwhelmed by St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 7-2, in a non-league match.
The Bears (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Rams go into the North Central Connecticut match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, Rockville ran past Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 12-2, in a non-league match.
