With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Kelley (Silver Bay, MN) to battle the Mariners in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 7-1.

With the defeat, Proctor falls to 8-4 on the season. The Rails travel to Denfeld (Duluth, MN) to battle the Hunters in a Lake Superior test on Tuesday, May 14. The Hunters come into the test with a record of 8-7. Denfeld won 14-9 in their recent non-league test against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN)
