Canton Chiefs (Canton, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI), 14-4 in a non-league battle.

The Chiefs now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Novi for a non-league match on Monday, May 13. Canton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-5.

With the defeat, St. Catherine of Siena Academy drops to 0-16 on the season. The host Huron (Ann Arbor, MI) to play the River Rats in a non-league match on Monday, May 13. The River Rats go into the match with a record of 3-9. Huron lost 10-2 in their recent non-league match against Saline (Saline, MI)
