Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lockport overwhelms Downers Grove North

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), saw Lockport's lacrosse team top Downers Grove North by a margin of 26-15.
The Porters (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers come into the Southwestern battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Washington was overwhelmed by St. Charles East/North (St. Charles, IL), 18-2, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) in a West Suburban battle, on Monday, May 13. Downers Grove North will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 10-8 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
