In Saturday's non-league test, the host Grand Ledge Comets lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the East Grand Rapids Pioneers.
The Comets now have a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Hills Eastern for a non-league test on Monday, May 13. Grand Ledge will face a Hawks squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 11-3.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 13. East Grand Rapids will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
