Indiana High School Softball - Anderson holds off Union City

May 11, 2024: Anderson, IN 46013

Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison-Grant for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Anderson will battle a Argylls squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Argylls record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Union City falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Cowan (Muncie, IN) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-17. Cowan lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against New Castle (New Castle, IN)
