The St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) softball the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), 3-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Lake Forest held off Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE), 5-2, in a non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Smyrna for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 14. Appoquinimink will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Delmar (Delmar, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
