The Lomira Lions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Baraboo Thunderbirds to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lomira improves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, May 13. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 9-11. Winnebago Lutheran Academy won 15-8 in their recent non-league game against Valders (Valders, WI)

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Reedsburg Beavers (Reedsburg, WI) in a Badger - Small game, on Wednesday, May 15. Baraboo will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Beavers come into the game with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Portage (Portage, WI).
