Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Porte for a Duneland challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Crown Point will battle a Slicers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, New Palestine falls to 18-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to battle the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 19-6. Plainfield won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN)
