Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delavan-Darien for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Evansville will face a Comets squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to St. Catherine's (Racine, WI). The Comets record now stands at 0-22.

With the loss, Waunakee falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to DeForest (DeForest, WI) to face the Norskies in a Badger - Large challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Norskies enter the challenge with a record of 8-14. DeForest lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Milton (Milton, WI)
