Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Otters now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Rocori for a Central Lakes challenge on Tuesday, May 14.

With the loss, Perham falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN) to battle the Panthers in a Mid-State challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Park Rapids lost 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN)
