The Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) softball nipped the visiting Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), 10-9 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights (3-12) will now prepare for their bout against Valley City (Valley City, ND). The Hi-Liners go into the Class A - East Region bout with a 2-4 record.
The H-CV Burros now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league bout on Monday, May 13. Hillsboro/Central Valley will confront a Tommies squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND). The Tommies record now stands at 10-6.
