The Northeastern Knights softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Hauser Jets to 2 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Northeastern improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Knights host Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 12-8. Franklin County won 3-0 in their recent league game against Batesville (Batesville, IN)

In their next game, the Jets clash with the Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN) in a Mid-Hoosier game, on Monday, May 13. Hauser will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 14-3 league win over Waldron (Waldron, IN).
