Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 24-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Hononegah will battle a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Dakota (Dakota, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 30-2.

With the loss, Orion falls to 7-20 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Dakota (Dakota, IL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 22-3. Dakota lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Seneca (Seneca, IL)
