The Marshall Tigers routed the visiting Hutchinson Tigers softball squad by a final score of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN). The White Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Mound-Westonka was routed by Jordan (Jordan, MN), 12-7, in a league battle.
The Tigers now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 11. Hutchinson will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.
