Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) and the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), witnessed Oldham County's softball squad tip Meade County by a count of 10-7.

The Colonels now sport a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Graves County for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. Oldham County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 15-10.

With the loss, Meade County moves to 19-8 on the season. The Green waves host Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 17-11. Apollo won 10-6 in their recent non-league match against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY)
