West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now sport a 12-14 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield North for a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Monday, May 13. West Aurora will face a Tigers squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-16.

With the loss, Wheaton Academy falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to face the Celtics in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Celtics enter the challenge with a record of 18-8. Providence Catholic won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)
