In Sunday's non-league bout, the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), by a tally of 10-0.

Next up, the Chieftains encounter the Whittier RVT Wildcats (Haverhill, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Masconomet Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 6-7 record after their 10-4 league win over Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA).

The Vikings (2-12) will now prepare for their bout against Amesbury (Amesbury, MA). The Redhawks enter the non-league bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Amesbury was overwhelmed by Newburyport (Newburyport, MA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
