The Champaign Central Maroons baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Altamont Indians to 1 in the Maroons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Maroons (25-5) will now prepare for their match against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets go into the non-league match with a 14-12 record. In their last match, Oakwood was overwhelmed by Westville (Westville, IL), 11-1, in a league match.
The Indians (14-14) will now prepare for their match against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 26-2 record. In their last match, Shelbyville gained a win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL), 10-7, in a league match.
