The Buchanan Bucks baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Mishawaka Cavemen to 6 in the Bucks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bucks (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Mishawaka Marian edged South Bend Clay (South Bend, IN), 10-0, in a league match.
The Cavemen (9-8) will now prepare for their match against NorthWood (Nappanee, IN). The Panthers go into the Northern Lakes match with a 4-16 record. In their last match, NorthWood was edged by Warsaw (Warsaw, IN), 11-3, in a league match.
