North Carolina High School Baseball - East Columbus wallops Southern Wake Academy

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) and the host Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), saw East Columbus's baseball squad knock off Southern Wake Academy by a count of 14-3.

Coming up next, the Gators play the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 17. East Columbus will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 14-10 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC).

The Lions now possess a 16-7 record.
