The Marlboro Central Dukes the visiting Saugerties Sawyers baseball team by a count of 6-3 in Thursday's league bout.
The Dukes now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallkill for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 17. Marlboro Central will face a Panthers team coming off a 17-1 league win over Red Hook (Red Hook, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
Next, the Sawyers face the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson I bout, on Saturday, May 14. Saugerties will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Huguenots enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
