The Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) baseball trounced the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 7-0 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 17. Perquimans will attempt to better on its 25-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 20-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Voyager (Durham, NC).

The Eagles now sport a 16-8 record.
